Rifle Foundations
Practical Rifle Handling Beyond the Bench
Bench-rest shooting builds familiarity.
Real rifle competence starts when you learn to safely run your rifle beyond the bench.
Rifle Foundations is the starting point for shooters who want to move beyond static bench shooting and develop confident, practical rifle-handling skills in a structured, professional environment.
This course focuses on safe rifle operation, efficient handling, and foundational positional skills — the building blocks required before progressing to dynamic movement and advanced rifle training.
This is not about speed or tactics.
It’s about building correct habits that last.
Is This Course for You?
This course is designed for shooters who:
⊙ Own a rifle and want to use it more confidently
⊙ Have experience shooting from a bench but feel limited beyond that
⊙ Want structured, professional instruction
⊙ Are preparing for Rifle in Motion or other advanced rifle courses
⊙ Want practical rifle skills that translate beyond a square range
This course assumes basic firearms safety awareness and a willingness to learn.
This course is not designed for brand-new shooters with no prior rifle experience.
Why This Course Matters
Many rifle owners can shoot accurately from a bench — but struggle when asked to:
-
Reload efficiently
-
Clear malfunctions confidently
-
Change positions safely
-
Maintain control outside ideal conditions
Rifle Foundations bridges that gap.
This course gives you the skills and understanding needed to safely operate your rifle in realistic, non-ideal conditions, without rushing you into movement-heavy or advanced drills.
