Women’s Handgun Fundamentals – @ the range

Learn to Handle, Carry, and Use Your Handgun Safely — With Confidence

Learning to use a handgun should feel clear, respectful, and structured — not rushed, judged, or intimidating.

Women’s Handgun Fundamentals is a women-only handgun course that combines classroom instruction and live-fire range training, designed to help women build real confidence through understanding, repetition, and professional coaching.

This course is intentionally structured to be approximately 50% classroom and 50% range, so you understand why things matter before applying them on the range.

This is not about being tactical or aggressive.
It’s about learning to handle, carry, and use your handgun responsibly and confidently.

Is This the Right Course for You?

This course is designed for women who:
⊙ Are new handgun owners and unsure where to begin
⊙ Have shot before but never taken formal training
⊙ Grew up around firearms but want structured, professional instruction
⊙ Want to understand how their handgun works — not just how to shoot
⊙ Want a welcoming, women-only environment to learn without pressure

No prior formal training is required.
You do not need confidence before class — that’s what this course is for.

This course assumes safe, respectful behavior and a willingness to follow instruction.

Training That Respects Where You Are

Many women hesitate to take handgun training because they worry:
⊙ They’ll feel judged for what they don’t know
⊙ Everyone else will be more experienced
⊙ They’ll be rushed or pressured
⊙ They’ll be expected to perform instead of learn

This course is intentionally built to remove those barriers.

You are not here to impress anyone.
You are here to learn safely, at your pace, with professional guidance.

Instruction follows a structured curriculum used to train responsible civilian shooters, delivered with patience, clarity, and firm safety standards.

What You’ll Learn

This course covers the same responsible-ownership foundation as our women’s classroom course, with added live-fire application.

You will learn:
⊙ Fundamentals of marksmanship — grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control
⊙ Safe handling, loading, and unloading procedures
⊙ How to recognize and safely clear common handgun malfunctions
(failure to feed, stovepipe, failure to eject)
⊙ Emergency reloads — maintaining readiness calmly and safely
⊙ Carry considerations — realistic discussion of how women carry in daily life
⊙ Firearm responsibility — safe storage and situational awareness at home and in public

Every concept is explained before it is practiced.

How the Day Is Structured

To reduce pressure and improve learning, the day is intentionally paced:

⊙ Classroom instruction with hands-on explanation
⊙ Live-fire range application with direct instructor guidance
⊙ Regular breaks and pacing adjustments as needed

This structure allows confidence to build step by step, not all at once.

Course Format & What to Expect

⊙ Approximately 50% classroom / 50% range
⊙ Full-day course — plan for a full day of instruction and shooting
⊙ Individual coaching and feedback throughout the day
⊙ Women-only, calm, professional learning environment
⊙ Cold-range policy — firearms remain unloaded unless directed

✔ No yelling
✔ No ego
✔ No pressure
✔ Questions encouraged
✔ Learn at your pace

Confidence comes from competence, not being rushed.

Why This Matters

Confidence with a handgun doesn’t come from guessing. It comes from:

  • Understanding how your firearm works

  • Practicing correct habits

  • Learning how to respond calmly when things don’t go as planned

In one day, you’ll gain:
⊙ Clear knowledge
⊙ Practical, repeatable skills
⊙ Confidence you can build on responsibly

By the end of this course, you’ll know exactly what your next step should be — and whether you’re ready for it.
